Ok, I have come into possession of a Sharp Image SI-325 and would like to test it, however I am not in possession of any med-res games (just low-res). So am I pretty much hooped with this regards? I can apply power to the monitor and there is high voltage and the tube tests good with my tube tester, but is there any method I can use to get a picture on screen?

Thanks for any suggestions (good or bad). ;)

Is the SI-325 not duel res? I could swear I had one and it was duel res and I was using it for low res games.

Might of been another sharp image mosel though

Perhapes so, but what I found on the net indicated that it was med-res with no mention of it being dual-res.

That being said would there be some sort of jumper that would switch between the modes or is it 'automatic' based on the incoming signal?

Sorry, still a newbie on this stuff...

ok I had to go look through my stuff cause I remember I still had the cap kit for the sharp image monitor I had and I did indeed have a SI-325 and it definately was duel res. i was using it in a dynamo cab with low res pcbs.

I don't know if it switches automatically or if it has a dip since I never had any medium res pcbs at that time.

Ok, thank you for the reply - will look into it further.

Cheers,
