OK, well it has just come to my attention that an Op that i buy games from sold an original moonwalker cab to another guy i know for $50(it's converted and guy doesn't care about cab). And the Op still has the working pcb and marqee. Is this game really desirable enough for me to put together? I can probably get the pcb and marqee for $150 and the cab for doing a few repairs and swapping his conversion game into one of my no name cabs. Thoughts???

I think a lot of the hype on Moonwalker has gone way down, but for $150 the board and marquee is probably a fair price. I'm not sure what a dedicated one would go for, but it doesn't sound like you'd have to put a ton of money into it.

and the cab still has the moonwalker id tag on the back. Don't know if it has the original control panel on it or monitor bezel. I bet i could get it up and running for $250.

For that price I can't see you taking a loss on it. I guess it's more how much profit you can get from it. I'd say a fair/safe estimate is 400 to 500, but maybe someone can chime in. I just don't know how much they've dropped in value since that spike in prices.

If I could find one locally I'd pay up to $500 for it if it's it nice condition. It really doesn't matter what it's worth to "others". You have to decide what it's worth to you. Unless you're just trying to flip it? Then it's a question of what it's worth to others.
