I don't think the control panels or the bezels held up well. I have not seen a fully original survivor galaga that doesn't have the cpo picked at and cracks and the bezel white color flaking.

I find these flaws in a lot of midway games. They used glass bezels and marquees instead of plexi is probably one reason for the bezel flaking.

I guess they did not think nor care whether these games survived harsh weather conditions because they were not designed with that in mind.
