I have this G07 that I think is a CFO. I was told it was positive sync only.

It only has a 6 prong molex. My Domino man has a 6 pin Molex plus a 3 pin molex. I can't get it to sync. I tried using a splitter that allows me to plug in a 6+3 on a 6 pin and couldn't get it to sync no matter which way I put the 3 pin on. But, I had limited combos available to me because of the way everything lines up. I was however, able to successfully use this splitter with my Tapper and a new Kortek monitor and by using only the 6 pin molex on that monitor (it has 6+3, but I got it to work on just six with the splitter.)

Anyways, before I start splicing up the Domino Man Molex plugs to see if I can figure this out... Can someone confirm that this game will work with a positive sync monitor? Anyone know which wires I need to make proper sync? I have just been very hesitant to chop up the original video cable.

Thanks!

If the monitor is only positive sync.....it'll never work (well, not without some modification). Domino Man is negative sync.

The 3-pin video connector is negative.

The video signal connector goes as followed...

6-pin connector: red/green/blue/ground/positive vertical sync/positive horizontal sync
3-pin connector: ground/negative vertical sync/negative horizontal sync

Any game that utilizes the 3-pin connector is negative sync.

More than you ever wanted to know about sync...

Yeah, I have been to bob's site and read that probably 3 times. I still don't get it. :)

Also, the MCR doesn't have the yellow and white wires so most of that doesn't make sense to me...

Anyways, I put a 4900 in the domino man and it's working great.
