Portland Retro Gaming Expo

Thanks for coming by guys. It was good to meet some new faces and see some of the old ones again. We played, ate, drank, talked, and had a great time till about 1:30 AM. Some new high scores were set, all the games except Q*Bert stayed up all night with us.

Sorry, I took no pics or video, just too busy having fun and playing games.

You guys can count on it happening again next year.

I wish I could have made it. I ended up driving down to Salem on Saturday night, instead of Sunday night, like I originally planned.

Hopefully next year. I will be at the show for sure.

I got to meet some of the SMAC members, and a few of the PAC members, and some more KLOV members... if I didn't see you, sorry. I would love to meet everyone.

I had a great time, and really look forward to next year.

Thanks for the party Brick Top!!!

AWESOME gameroom, I must say! I died seeing the side-by-side Tron and DOT! And the gf was a little saddened by the lack of Q*Bert, she found her fave Tempest and played a ton of it. You have some awesome decor in that gameroom as well, along with having a BAR! Sorry I never got to take pics of the party...I intended to but never got around to it. Next time you hold a party on a weekend, we'll try and be there!!! :-D

As for the show...MAN I really scored some good stuff I've been wanting. Nothing terribly RARE, per se. But stuff to round out my console museum:

- Atari Lynx (super clean!)
- Panasonic 3D0 (top loader)
- Commodore 64 (2nd gen w/ GEO)
- Turbo Grafx 16 (w/ BOTH Bonk's Adventure & Revenge)
- Magnavox Odyssy 2 (along with 20+ games)
- Nearly $200 in loose NES games
- About $150 in boxed games (various)
- The entire World of Power NES novel series

And I know there's more, I just cannot think of it all.

Had some great times. Hung out with Bill, Ken, Jeff and the PAC group this weekend, super-awesome!

Thanks to everyone I got to meet and hang with!!

It was awesome finally meeting you, Rich!!!

Thank you to Darrell (charger) Chris, Jeremy (Darthphunk), Rich (Rikitiki), Kendra, Bill Carlton and Ground Kontrol for bringing arcade games. They were one of the most popular things at the show and everything went very smoothly with getting them to the show. I really appreciate everything you guys did for our show. I also saw Jordan (Brick Top), Jeff (ShanMan), Matt (Blinddog), Gil (djgil), Greg (mclemore). Sorry I didn't have much time to chat, I was super busy all day on Saturday. I had a great time at the show and hopefully we'll have even more arcade games next year.
