http://www.RetroGamingExpo.com . I have my Tron and Pac-Man w/48-in-1 there. Bill Carlton from the High Score documentary has his Asteroids, some sort of countertop game and an old Pachinko game. Another guy who was there last year has some JAMMA cabinets and is probably selling a bunch of stuff, last year he sold a ton of marquees for $1 each at the end of the day. I'm off to the show right now.

It was good seeing you again last night, Toby. Got to play some games with NeP and finally met BrickTop too. And then blinddog was down from Seattle also. Talked to Bill briefly at Ground Kontrol. Definitely a great time at GK (and pizza). The place was packed. Thanks to ParrotHead for organizing the pre-expo party last night. Great to see you again, Mike, and thanks for the pizza!

Not much of a console guy so I'm not going to the expo.

I just got back. It was cool. Mostly consoles though. There was one booth with coin-op stuff, lots of translite marquees for 3-10 dollars. Mostly mid 90's stuff. They also had new buttons, coin doors, and cam locks.

I met Bill today, he gave me a autographed flyer of High Score the movie. I might have to put that on eBay once he is a big star ;)
Saw ybot again, he had some cool memorabilia for sale. Nice big stuffed Donkey Kong for $35.

Lots of this...

And not enough of this....

The show was worth a look, and I could see it growing into something bigger with more coin-ops. It appeared to me that they were already a little too big for the space they were in. I did pick up a couple cool Galaxian T-Shirts.

The show was fun, I recommend checking it out if possible.

I was at the show yesterday. It was a good show with more guest interraction events than we had in Seattle. They had two head to head competitions that passed quickly as well as a couple of "highest score at the end of the show wins" type competitions. There was also a costume contest of which I only recognized two characters - Mario and the guy from Dig Dug (Dig Dug won, BTW). The music performed by Leeni was interesting; not really my cup of tea but I could see her opening for some of my favorite bands...

I didn't stay for the auction but I am sure it had a high level of participation as well.

Overall I had a great time and picked up a Depthcharge machine from Y-bot to add to my collection. Thanks for the great show!
