"Popman" PCB - Pacman Popeye Clone Version

SOLD Update: This is a Popman PCB which is a Pacman clone like HanglyMan but with Popeye sprites and alternate maze. It has Pac-2 written on the back.

This is labeled as Popeye, though it doesn't look like Popeye PCBs I see online. It has two edge connectors on it. Maybe someone can shed some light on it.

It is a two stack board.

It is untested by me, sold as is. $36 shipped via PayPal.
In my experience, that style of board is typically Galaxian, Moon Cresta, or something along those line. My Popeye bootleg is entirely different from your board.

Thanks for the reply. Maybe it is some game along the lines of those mentioned, different as the PCB is different from those, but yeah maybe something like that. I'll update the title of the thread.

Update: I've been told this is quite possibly a Popman clone PCB, something like in this post. It has Pac-2 written on the back.

That's pacman with popeye characters... just a graphics hack.

Just an update: I've now tested it with a DC to Jamma Pacman adapter. It booted up to a rug screen. Looked further at the board and legs of the processor, which I think is a Z80 C, and it needs replacing.

Probably no one interested in this, but it's fun to learn something about games I wasn't aware of before.

Please let us know what you find when that Z80 is replaced. Thanks.

Update: I put in a different Z80 and it booted right up. The pinout is different than Pacman so I had to jump pin 8 to add a credit. The speaker is also wired differently and I think that could be why the image appears reddish and of course why I didn't hear sound. Here is a screenshot though.

Title screen coined up.

Ran this through a Pac to Jamma DC converter and the pinouts are not the same so speaker output conflicts with other pins possibly causing it to appear reddish. It uses HanglyMan pinout I believe.
