I think my next cab on my 'to get list' may be a Popeye. Not sure on prices, they seem a little HTF in WI.

Anyone know what someone could expect to pay?

You know Im not trying to bust anyones chops here - but if I could find a Popeye for 150 bucks - I would buy them all day long...
Overlays alone on those go for 45 bucks easy... the monitors in a nintendo cab is worth 100 bucks easy - Board set? Bezel? Marquee? Wiring harness? etc - come on 150 bucks???

Everyone is free to have an opinion - I have no problem with that - but 150 bucks for a Popeye is NOT a reasonable price.

A parted-out cabinet can fetch more money from its parts then you could get from all those parts assembled together... that's one of the reasons why people part out cabs (and then have people pissed at them.)

I think I paid $200 for my cocktail. And for the record I think $250-$300 is the fair price. Condition could bring a higher price if it were nice.

It just isn't much fun to play.
Like I said though I love the sounds of popeye going off in the background.

I'd agree - the parts are worth more than the whole.

I'd say an average price around here is $200 working.

It wasn't Nintendo's finest hour.....
