Popeye JAMMA power question

This board was shipped to me from Germany if that helps at all. I'm not sure if maybe they have different output settings compared to NTSC?

Post pics of your board, both of them, and we can look to see if it's modded already.

Also if a popeye expert can chime in, I am not 100% sure popeye is inverted by default or not ?

Unfortunately not. It mainly changes the hue of blue slightly (besides red, which makes it that shade when I turn the dial all the way).


I should note too there IS audio. It might be a little tinny, but not that bad.
 
I tried to mess with the RGB pots on the PCB itself, but am still getting no real difference other than the visuals being a little brighter but still blue.

Someone elsewhere mentioned Nintendo PCBs just aren't good for displays like this and really only work well on original cabinets. Is that true? Am I just out of luck with this?
