Poor mans Sega NAOMI system: video added

I am finally done with something ive been wanting to do for about 2 years now. I recently picked up a blast city fishing cab and converted to a dreamcast dedicated machine. The dreamcast plays damn near the same as arcade games and is a really nice system that outputs vga and I have it running on my wells tri res. Please let me know what you think. I tried to make this look as nice as possible and make the hardware look part of the machine. Ill be making a video soon

Ya a break down would be cool. I would love it if you could show us all the components.

Good work! I've been wanting to do a Dreamcast cab with analog joysticks for Jet Grind Radio. Maybe one day...

totally kick ass man, nice job on everything. I love my naomi but im thinking I either wanna go the dc route or the flash card route because some games ill never shell out the cash for *border down..*

You could Net boot all those games on your Naomi, just talk to topless-z.

Anyways nice job with the Dreamcast, only thing that sucks is 2 of my fave games on the Dreamcast won't work in vga mode, Last blade 2 and Mark of the Wolves.

Fortunately, I have them on my Neo Geo.

Hope this video explains every thing enough. The little
Pcb were I connected the audio is actually the the I/O board and I had a spare connector with audio wires on it and just soldered stereo outputs on it. I can A larger pic of needed

When I do this, I do a controller hack into a JAMMA finger board and IDE connector for the kick harness. Then I make sure that my controller and kick harness grounds match on the same side of the JAMMA harness. This way I can easily pull the console and swap the machine back to a JAMMA board in an instant.
