Poor Defender

It is funny out of the 1000's of games I have had I have only had 2 good Defenders that were not hacked. Operators must of love that cab for some reason to convert. It is a shame it is one of my favs

its sad to see a defender look so hacked. But to that dude's defense, it looks like if it ever got finished it would look alright.

There sure is a glut of Mame/Xbox arcade machines for sale on Craiglist ALL the time. I think people realize its a lot more work than they thought, or they realize how ugly it looks when finished and want to sell it off. Can you imagine having your buddies over to "admire" your handiwork and they laugh at your accomplishment?

but when done right it can be a quite a nice piece in the arcade.

There is no "right" way to vandalize a classic arcade cabinet. The right way to obtain a MAME or Xbox arcade machine is to build it from scratch or use a generic cabinet.

There are so many Dynamo cabs out there that would be perfect for a MAME cade... Allmost no work needed to have alot of the games. and the ATX power supply would simply bolt in!

Yeah, and as a bonus, the extended "cut-corner" control panels that many Dynamo cabinets have provide more room for the extra controls that MAME cabinets tend to use; definitely more room than a Defender control panel, as well as more room than most other classic control panels.

i could care less about the defender. how hard would it have been to prime the whole thing? that's just laziness. this guy failed at failing
