So, this isn't an arcade, or a game room. Not enough "finishing touches" to call it that, I figure. ;) It's just a bedroom of games with some fun lighting so far.

Room: 2nd floor bedroom in apartment complex. 12' x 10'. (Some games are in a closet.)
Games: 9 cabarets, 1 cocktail.

I'm 99% sure the answer is, "Dude, you're worried about nothing", but is this too much weight + people? I doubt it, based on pounds per square foot allowed. You know how it is, though...peace-of-mind to have others chime in.

Any suggestions re: decoration would be welcome! I'm thinking blacklights next...

Any suggestions?

Some light for your camera so we can see something :)

Great use of a spare bedroom, better than in-laws coming to visit.

So true. My digital camera sucks something fierce. It's doing the "pause/readjust/no picture or possibly take a picture" thing when I press the shutter button (progressively worse as it's gotten older, even though I've taken good care of it).

Ooo cabarets and Warlords... Good combo! Like bacon and eggs... on a nice buttered croissant sandwich... with cheese and just the right amount of salt and pepper...

That's how I want MY apartment to look!

Free bacon, egg, cheese, and croissant sandwiches for everyone!

nice look. i'm jealous of the warlords. bastard.

Still debating on getting the repo glass for it...

LOL, this was cool.

Awesome! I love it. I like the games lined up in the closet.

They fit well, but I wish I had a better place to store the mirrored doors I took off of there!

Per the weight load of the games: chime in, people. Am I okay? Pretty sure I am...

Jealous of all those cabarets. Love those! I don't think the floor will fall through unless you're in "The Money Pit" house. :)

ive been in the apt biz for over 20 years, the only problem is 2nd floor's use light weight concrete, sometimes called blowcrete cause its pumped from a truck.2nd floors are subfloors are prone to cracking/breaking but you have the concrete then a layer of half inch plywood sitting on 2x4's probably 16 inches apart. ive only seen 1 time ever that something actually fell thru and that was because the resident didnt report the subfloor damage. id say your completly safe as long as when your walking in there you dont feel the concrete shifting while you walk around.

I'd have to disagree. That my friend, is your own personal arcade. Well done.

Thank you. I need some signage; I'll have to look over what everyone else is doing...

Really nice man! I wouldn't worry about the weight.

Thanks for the input, guys. This all makes sense.

How about some mirrors on the ceilings so you can watch yourself play games? :)

Nah, man. Seeing myself in my Underoos once is one time too many!

By the way,my sons room became a game room as well. I to live in an apartment but I could only fit 4 cabs a pin a love seat and a coke reach in cooler in there.

That's still a pretty good collection of stuff. Pins take up lots of space

I did move. :D As far as the bed goes, there's no sleeping in the BedCade; it's a fun irony. I'm a bachelor, so my bed is tucked inside one sleeper sofa in the living room, where there's air conditioning and a flat-screen TV.

That is looking good. Nice collection of cabarets. If it is not an arcade or game room in your eyes, maybe a very nice storage unit.:)
