NEW PONG Coffee Table

ha, you're right. i just threw a hypothetical number out there. to be honest i'm surprised it's under 4-figures

but ... IMO still a bit gimmicky. a cool conversation piece but each table will likely see a total of 6 minutes of playtime before they end up on CL for full original price

Seems to be $900 based on the Kickstarter.

I may pull the trigger at $900. The only concern is that it's a little small. It's only 4 feet in length and 2 ft wide. But it is a cool little concept.

The only thing I don't get is even after you pony up the $900 they want you to include another $80 to get the custom stools. Plus another $60 to make it coin operated in fact they offer no option where they just include the stools or coin option in the price they always make you pay extra for it. Who the hell is going to get this thing without getting the stools for it?

How can you not spring the 60 for coin operated? ;)

Looks like 14 more joined since 12 hours ago! This looks pretty damn cool

Good point - i will have an opportunity to add it on when the sale is finalized if they get funded. It was going to be for home use as a coffee table but i think the resale value may improve with the coin feature.

i don't understand the licensing from Atari thing. why isn't there pages on this
alone explaining the process, the agreements, and disclosed financials, etc..
how much does Atari get as a cut to allow them to use their logo and game?
does Atari get a residual percentage of all sales, like 5% cut?
why isn't this public knowledge? i wanna know! let it out!

I want to know why there's a photo of someone playing the Atari VCS... research?
