a real atari pong by atari, upright. historic rare piece, rarely avail for sale
95% +working
came from a home game room in calif gold country, where they had it for 35+ yrs
it has a free credit sw installed on the coin mech front
it does coin up and play with the sounds, in attract mode one of the background score numbers is not right. it has a dent in top of cabinet, the cabinet is sturdy enough to ship
it also has a warranty paper enclosed
the serial no plate has been torn off

pong

the nice one on ebay is not really selling for 15,000 so far, but apparently has offers near half that, so if a super nice one is worth near 5000-7000, maybe mine is worth 2800?

lol I have no idea bro, I was just saying yours is like 20% of the price of that one. I don't even know if exidys price guide has black and white games on it for a reference.

Good luck with your sale..

Might want to clean the cobwebs from the monitor and bezel though. It's to bad the top was damaged and plate removed. These pop up from time to time.. Never saw one go over 2k.. But who knows.. Cool machine.

sorry r5g, you are not allowed to have anything cool.

The one on Ebay looks like it has some damage. I can't tell what the offers were. Is there actually a way of telling what was offered?

It's just my opinion but since someone else mentioned it, I think Exidy's estimates for this game are pretty fair. A really nice one or very low serial number might get a bit more, but $15k is way over the top. No one has ever paid that for any arcade game that I have ever heard of. I think McLemore paid the most ever...for a rare color (1 of 1 I think) Computer Space.

Good luck with the sale.

PONG machine

If the one on ebay is worth $15.000.00 mine must be worth $30.000.00 they are signed by the inventor Al Acorn of ATARI

Please don't start a new thread just because you lowered the price. I have merged the two threads, so continue to use this thread rather than start a new one.

Why not replace the pots? They are like $10 each and this is a high dollar game? I am replacing the ones on my William's Pong and that one is barely worth the cost of the replacement pots.

pong to 900

going to 900 if anyone would like it for that
