I cannot find any information on replacing Pong monitors -- which are just 70s TVs -- and could use some probably very easy help. I understand any old TV will do, and I happen to have a few early 70s TVs with the UHF input identical to the RGA monitor in my Pong. One can't just wire them up though, since I believe the channel switcher was bypassed inside the TV. All I get is snow on a replacement TV, and I don't think channel switching helps.

Are there now stock parts that can allow me to get the audio and visual signals to a replacement TV without dissecting the TV? Some RF switch machination mayhaps?

The Pong board outputs via red, green and black wires, which I believe are sound, video and common ground. I have pretty limited monitor knowledge, but I do understand everything I have just said, so it's a start! Thanks in advance for helping me to solve this ancient puzzle.

Still interested in any info you may have to offer on this, monitor people! I tried various video signal/RCA/RF switch wirings, with no luck.

What did Atari do to all of those innocent television sets?

AFAIK, B&W games' video output was simply composite video. I know this is true for Space Invaders, but I've never worked on a Pong, so I can't be 100% certain.

So, if I'm reading this right, the Pong monitor is just a TV without a tuner, the output of the board wired directly to the monitor? Can you just crack open one of your spare tv's, look for the wires on the output side of the tuner that go to the tube and just tap in there?
