POLL: 100% working - but game locks up during play?

Of course not. Why would anyone think otherwise? If the game locks up in play, then it is decidedly NOT working properly...

Definitely not. I know you know this...

And I'm also betting you bought something from someone on here, and this thread is to settle an argument? :D

The issue in question is my LW3 pinball. It will work perfectly fine, and then for some as yet unknown reason the blanking signal will drop out. It works on power up again.

I argued that since I can play several games with no issues at all, that the game 'works 100%, but has a reset issue'.

Shardian said:
"Technically, it works 100% now...it just freezes up when the blanking circuit fails."

To which I replied:
"What?? Technically it doesn't work 100% now, it freezes up!! I'll post a poll on KLOV. ;)"

And then he had to say this:
"Where's your poll at?"

;) So here we are. I got a good chuckle out of posting it, thanks for that.

Ohh these are different statements. Shard, what the heck are you trying to pull??? :D

I get tired of typing out "the blanking signal drops out" when most people don't have a frikkin clue what I am talking about. So, I just said 'reset issue' to simplify things.

When the blanking signal stops, everything shuts down. The DMD freezes on the last image, and the last playing sound loops. I have to cycle power to bring it back up. Thus, I have to 'reset' the machine to get it working again.

I think Wade shoved the semantic dagger in between the armor plates of your good intentions. :D

You all can say what you want, but I played 10 games straight last night of 100% working pinball!:D

I can do the same thing when I get home from work today.

To me, that is 100% working, but with 'a reset issue'. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

And when I solve this issue and sell the machine, I will pull a Cartman and cash my money into pennies, dump it into a kiddie pool in Wade's front lawn, and swim in it.
