I was wondering if anyone had any good tips for polishing minor scratches out of Plexi/Acrylic? I also have what looks to be paint overspray on a punchout bezel i just picked up and was wondering what the best thing to remove it with. Is there any light abrasive/polish to get the overspray and scratches out without clouding up the bezel? Thanks

You could try an automotive clay bar for removing overspray speckles. Soap and water and glide the clay bar over the area.

Otherwise Novus plastic polishing system is very good.

You can supposedly even use regular toothpaste as a polish to make it 'minty' again (see what I did there? Hurr hurr...).

If the scratches are a bit deep, you'll be there forever with paste polish. You'd need to use some finer sandpaper, eg 1200 and work your way up to wetsand with 4000+.

If you use a machine buffer, go slow, as heat can build up very fast and ruin plexi.

Deep means if it can be felt with your fingernail, it wont come up
with Novus without a LOT and I mean a LOT of work. Sanding is best
but go slow. It doesnt take much to remove damage. I would go up to
12k grit. They make pads especially for plexi sanding.
