The police car on my police force pin isn't operating. I don't know if the belt broke or if it just became disconnected. It doesn't return to where it should be.
Anyone with Police Force knows that the police car is an integral part of the game.

Could anyone email me a photo (or post it) of the mechanism under the police car? Fairly sure if I see the right setup, I can get mine figured out and operational.

Thanks

Will this do? :50:

I of course lifted the playfield to see something was amiss. I don't know what its supposed to look like with a proper operational belt. Hence my request for a photo.

The photo of the real car is wonderful. Glad to see someone went out of there way to put humor into the world, which is far too serious.

But I still would very much appreciate a photo of the underside of the police car and what a fully operational belt looks like.

Glad you took it that way. Looks like your relatively new here. Welcome! Good luck on fixing your game. Absolutely love the Sys11 pins. Have 4 myself. Police Force is one I would eventually like to get.

The belt may have broken but at the very least it has probably dried out and is slipping.

A year or two ago I had to replace mine for the first time (I'm the second owner and have had the game since 1991-ish). I had found a replacement on eBay from this seller http://myworld.ebay.com/cointechtexas. Although he doesn't have any listed currently you could drop him a line.

From what I remember it wasn't a continuous loop of material but rather the two ends were held together with a bracket on the bottom of the police car. I'm sure there are other places to by this material but I didn't want to spend the time looking. There are always the usual suspects for Pinball parts such as the Pinball Resource too.

Good luck!
