Ok so here is the deal - I posted about this in the repair section - but after thinking about this a little further and chatting with another KLOV member - I decided to post here quick...

The board set that I traded plays just fine - but the Seaside track has red lines in it... now my first reaction (as was his) was that this was a glitch in the board (bad chip somewhere)
I just wanted to MAKE SURE - these red lines ARE NOT supposed to be on this track... since all other tracks play just fine it doesnt make sense...

Can someone confirm that these are NOT supposed to be there?

here is a video

you mean in the PPII .. as I just happen to have a working one.. and a spare working PPII board..

I shall check for you... :)

Well I'll be damned...

I was gonna say no way after seeing yours... btw, your picture is very nice / sharp.. wish mine was that good.... mine is better after swapping it out for another..

but ! I have those red lines too.. BUT not near as bright and rich as yours.. faint .. very dull and faint... I can see them, but hardly , a bit annoying now you pointed it out... so thanks alot..

maybe turn down your red or your contrast a bit? see if that helps...

if you need, I can screw around and post a vid too...

yeah please do... its just weird that is on 1 track and not the others...

by the way the monitor is original just has a faint burn of game over.. This machine was never in an arcade. I bought if from a family that bought it straight up back in 1980 something!!

Yep, fired mine up and it has the lines but they are very faint as well. Hopefully turning down the red as suggested above will fix your track.

nuthing on the monitor is fixing the problem.. None of the adjustment switches doesnt even touch those lines!!!

i need to see a video of someones playing...anyone please???

Every track on PPII except Fuji has those lines... but they are MUCH more faint than what shows in your video. Fuji is all gray where as the rest alternate between gray and redish gray...

Here it is in MAME... but you get the drift...

Yeah but those lines are lined up with the WHITE lines in the middle of the road... Mine are like in line where there is no WHITE lines... no what i mean?? I see what you guys are saying.. i can adjust the monitor to see the faint lines on other tracks... but those adjustments dont do nuting to those lines....

On mine, the track is all grey with faintly a lighter grey where your's is red. Definitely not right
