Picked up this Pole Position yesterday. Pretty crazy because i have zero technical skills but it was pretty cheap and located 15 minutes from my house.. also the news of the upcoming multi board made me think, screw it, let's buy this classic!

Of course it isn't working, when i turn the game on i can hear the start up sounds and after inserting a credit i can start a race. Gas and breaks also seem to work, but there's nothing on the screen.

Some additional info: I switched the monitor with another (supposedly) working one but without any results. The 3f fuse is completely taken out, i think they bypassed this one. The connector is directly soldered to the pcb.

So, what would you nice people advice me to do?

Well the game boards are good :), The monitor is probably not getting any voltage and that is were I would start to look. There should be a fuse for that monitor and I would check that with a meter to make certain that it is good (with ohm's test and power off). I am thinking since you put in a supposedly good monitor, there is a wiring or power problem going to the monitor board.
