Could someone post a picture of the rear door on a PP2. Mine was missing. I figure there must be a hole where the fan is, but was wondering if there are any other holes or vents.

Thanks
Don

My Pole Position had a hole hacked out of it for the fan (certainly NOT stock)... but I think that is it...the one picture I have of the back of the PP shows only the top 2/3 of the door and it's as I describe.

Here are pictures of backs from both my PP cabs. The one on the left (without a vent hole) is from #7349 and the one on the right (with a vent hole) is from #17752. Based on my sample set of two, I would guess they added the vent hole to later cabinets. It sure looks stock on mine and it is positioned right behind the PCB cage.

Mine looks like the one on the right. Fan is mounted above the PCB cage and blows into a cardboard tunnel.

Yours blows in? Mine sucks air out. I wonder which is right? Also...for those who don't have one, you can easily make the "wind tunnel" with a Priority Mail triangle box.

Thanks for the pics guys. I will have to make a wind tunnel for mine - thanks for the tip. As fas as direction, it looks like mine was originally blowing out, but I would think with the cardboard tunnel you would want it to blow in.

Not so sure...blowing out sucks air through the cage collecting heat and out the back rather than blowing the heat in to the cabinet.

My cockpit blows out, no tunnel. My upright blows in, tunnel present. I think both ways work.

Since the manual calls the tunnel an "exhaust duct", I think it's supposed to blow out. That said, you're right...it likely makes ZERO difference.
