I've got a Pole Position II, which has a pretty sloppy PCB fan install (IMO), and holes drilled in the door for a vent. My fan is what looks like an old 115v IBM fan..

I'm working on restoring it, and would like to see what some of the late-model Pole Positions look like on the inside - especially wanting to see how Atari installed the fan (and what fan was used), and what their cardboard shroud over the PCB looks like (which I'm missing).

I'm under the impression that late-model Pole Positions had a PCB fan and shroud factory installed - and operators had to install it themselves for the early cabs. Let me know if I'm wrong..

Anyway.. Can anyone help me find pictures? Searching hasn't yielded me much.

My late model has the factory fan and cardboard funnel. The fan is attached just above the cage, and the back door has little holes drilled in it where the fan lines up. My power block has an extra 3 pin molex in the extra usually empty slot next to the other 3 pin for the monitor power cable, for connecting 115v to the fan.

I'll take a pick when I get home Friday.

Awesome - thanks! I appreciate any pictures, when you have time.

Here are a few pics.

I'm finishing the restore, so haven't put everything back yet. Here is a pic of the fan itself and fan mounting bracket:

Here are some pics of the shroud. The bottom edge isn't taped because I took the cage out and repainted it (rustoleum metallic, came out great!), so I'm holding it approximately where it would be taped so you see the shape.

Here is where the fan would sit:

I'm gonna take the shroud out and measure the bends and cuts, since I have another cab that needs it, and am gonna cut one out to match. I'll post again once I have it out and measured.

Awesome, thanks! Definitely interested in the shroud measurements - when you have a chance.
