So just a heat gun? I've been told a paint scrapper works good.
I doubt a paint scrapper will only work with this side art. As you can see in the photos I have a scraper there, it helps with lifting the edges. Once I have the edges up, its all heat and hand work a few inches at a time.
That one side in the pics took me three hours (one hour per night for three days). Getting it started is the hard part, and keeping it from tearing is challenging, but if you go slow its better than going fast.

Got ya.

I have and PP upright to apply side art to so I was just wondering. Thx

Coming along great, keep up the good work 👍🏻 the game isn't easy work with and move around.. super heavy on the front side. It's all worth it.

A little bump for motivating me to replace the casters on my cockpit. I grabbed some 4" casters from Harbor Freight and they fit great.
I am too lazy to go all the way like you but look forward to seeing your progress.

it doesnt look horrible i agree, mine was worse. better question is what are you replacing it with? no one ever made a silkscreen version just inkjet and looks like TOG is out of stock for eons on it. the online choices besides rich are joke worthy.

It wasn't made with a presumption of perfection. I had no scans to work from. I only had general photos. It would be awesome for someone to scan it and create a more accurate repro, but I made it as best as I could, so I could have artwork on my cab where the original was unsalvageable due to conversion. I take no offense at your comment. Just providing an explanation for why it is the way it is. I'm very happy with it though... No non-collector who comes to my game room would ever think it's not "right".
