So I have a problematic pole position(who doesn't?) that is working but after about 20-30 minutes of use it overheats and the game goes silly. After about 20-30 mins of downtime it works again. I thought it was the ARII's in there but it's not. I put in a switcher and ran some additional 5v lines from the switcher to all the test points on both boards which means the pcb boots fine but it doesn't stay on for the long haul. I also sense modded my ARII's so it doesn't spike/kill the board. What I need is pics of where I should put my fans as my early PP cab doesn't have any fans on the cage. I installed 2 12v 3 speed 80mm PC fans over the ARII's one sucking and one blowing but I need some to direct some airflow in the cage and want to know where most of the problematic parts are so I want to use the factory cage fan location as a guide.

Thanks,
-M

Here's a factory setup. The tunnel is made of cardboard (this one is a little out of whack). The fan blows out, so cooler air is drawn up through the cage and exhausted through the back. This machine also has a custom cooling or viewing window cut into the side of the cage, I couldn't decide which.

You will need to cut a hole in your back door, of course. The factory one had an identical hole cut on the left and right side, with a perforated metal grille.

Thanks for the pics. Going to cut a hole in my cage and put a fan in after cutting holes in the back door. Took the boards out lastnight temporarily for a party out of the cage and the PP played all night without crashing!
