SO i bought a case of budlight and sat down with my buddy J and tried to figure out why his pole position has no power and came up blank. We double checked all of the wiring and its all seated/connected properly. We checked the monitor out and it works in another machine. We replaced all big blues and even tested out the arII's in another cab as well and those all worked. Is it possible that the iso transformer is bad? ( i know they rarely go out but hey who knows) Also does anyone have any suggestions??? Also we do know the pcb has a slight graphics glitch (grainy graphics), any ideas how to clear that up?

Trying to understand your issue-- are you saying that when you power up the cabinet, nothing gets power (not the monitor, the PCB nor the marquee lamp) or that just the PCB is missing power?

PP is notorious for burning the power traces off the edge connector so if its only the PCB, that is the first place to look. If you are saying the entire cabinet is without power, than its clearly something in wiring or switches. I had an interconnect switch go bad once. Its should be easy enough to determine whether you have 120v to the power supply which would rule that out.

So you have power inside the cabinet to the fuse blocks? Up to the input side of the ISO?

I have a machine that had power to everything but the monitor - no power on the ISO output side at all so bad winding in it. Machine played blind.
