***Atari 7800 POKEY CHIP Tester***

I recently went through all of my POKEY Chips and tested everyone so I no longer need 2 of these and will let 1 go.

It works 100% as designed.

I prefer this design much more than some of the other 7800 carts due to the fact that the case is still intact making it much easier to insert into the 7800 cartridge port and works the very 1st time.

I also prefer the ZIF socket making it so much easier to insert and remove Pokey's as some of these had a standard 40pin EPROM socket instead.

There are various videos about these carts on Youtube if you are not familiar with them.

$90 (INCLUDES shipping in the US) for 1 Pokey tester

*I am only selling 1 as the other is staying with me :)

For those who like to create and work on little projects, this is something that you can make yourself. I found the instructions online a few years back. I don't remember everything that went into this but you will obviously need the 7800 Ballblazer cart, Zif Socket that get's soldered to the PCB, there is a small logic chip that you will need to purchase that also gets soldered onto the PCB and an EPROM that needs to be programmed. Every POKEY that I have tested in these (which has been a lot) and passed, has worked 100% in every game board that I used them in.
