While this is a somewhat obscure game (14 shown in VAPS), does anyone know if this board can be converted to any other games?

The board does have the factory Capcom labeling. My searching is not turning-up anything. A friend has this one they pick-up from an operator that has a hand written note questioning whether it can be converted to Buster Bros. I have worked on a number of dedicated Buster Bros/Super Buster Bros (Pang/Super Pang) boards and this is definitely not the same Capcom BB/SBB board. I don't doubt it's a Poker Ladies, having never seen one, but the question is, can be it converted to another game? KLOV says it's class is unique, which is the pinout, but a conversion may still be possible. Thank you for your thoughts.

The button layout looks like a poker cab to me. Pictures of each board would help.

Yes, the buttons are set-up like poker buttons (five for the five poker cards, then another three for Deal, Cancel, and Flip). That is enough inputs for a four way joystick, play 1 and 2, then two fire/action/etc. buttons.

I edited my above post to include a picture.

The picture is posted above. @rod90

I think I may have answered my own question, at least partially. I was focusing on the Mitchell part of this and not the Capcom portion, so I did not look-up the board on the System16 website (https://system16.com/hardware.php?id=792). Looks like that board will run multiple games, including Buster Bros (Pang) and Super Buster Bros (Super Pang). Now to see what is required for the conversion (anybody know?)... In comparing the System16 picture to the board from my friend, appears one of the ROMs (and socket) is in a different location.

Based on your pic, the PCBs are entirely different.

Different pinout too

Looks difficult, if at all possible, to convert to Buster Bros…

Thank you @parism.

You're looking at the dedicated Buster Bros/Super Buster Bros board. Look at the Mitchell/Capcom board shown on System16.com. Appears Capcom made those games for two different boards.

I can see that it may be possible to run Pang/Buster Bros. You will need a sophisticated JAMMA adapter to handle the inputs. I have never seen one as in the pic below, but I believe it was included with Block Block.

That adapter could be the show stopper. However some info on desuiciding Block Block (pic above) can be found here and someone was able to make Pang run on this hardware as shown here

However, Pang/Buster Bros boards are fairly easy to find so, to me, it is not really worth the effort.

Just out of curiosity is the board working? I have a de-suicided Poker Ladies board but I foolishly ended up destroying the voice chip on it while probing around.

I do not know, as I do not have a cabinet or wiring harness to test it with.
