Plug Goes "Boom"

I forget now...I had 3 that now I replaced with a B50 rack mount that kind collects dust. We had an old pick database system at work I keep alive with it for old data. Originally had a Powerserver 520 (20mhz), replaced with a 540 I got for free (40mhz), replaced with a...really really really heavy Metal RS6000 that I believe was 200mhz w/2 gigs of ram (and a $75k original price tag...I paid $75), and now the current one that takes up 1/10th of the room they all did lol.

We also had a 64 port rs-...432? serial cabinet with a huge mess of wire that I got rid of. I might have a box around that still has a mux board or boxes in it, but then again I mighta canned it all at this point.

Thanks for all the help guys.

One more question. What do you guys do with all the extra cord? Mine sits right beside the plug, so there's a lot of extra there. I had been tucking it inside the cab, since I've yet to put that back door on. Don't think that was a good idea.

Just coil it up and zip tie it. If you're not going to move the cab, that's probably the easiest thing to do. Just make sure you leave enough slack to pull it away from the wall enough to open it up again if you need to service it.
