I have wanted a Joust for a few years. None have showed up local at a realistic price. I picked up 2 converted jousts a few months ago. I have assembled enough parts to put one back together. All I need is my new harness from the west cost harnesss Jedi!!

Should I feel bad for killing a working Cabal???

Wow! That looks great. I love the way the sideart was still so good looking under that vinyl.

Thanks Ken took about an hour taking off the vinyl on one side. I think with some touch up on the brown it will look great.

You don't happen to still have the parts do you?:D

I think the parts are sold on this one, But I have another just like it that I have not touched it yet.

What the hell? That thing was sweet. ;)

I can keep the other one complete for you;)

NOPE!

You are going to sell the working cabal set to me to put into a Dynamo cab.... where it belongs. I have a HS5 with a Trackball cornercut panel.

OT: Interesting Speaker grille hack

I see your cabinet has the same "enhanced airflow" version of the speaker grille as mine. ;)

I just picked up 2 Joust cabinets that have an interesting speaker grill hack. Obviously at one time they looked like the one pictured earlier. What the operator did was pull the plastic mesh off, painted the bottom of the speaker panel black and mounted a piece of the mesh saved from step 1 on the top of the speaker panel and remounted the speaker over it.

It took a couple of minutes of looking at it to figure out what was different. The look is not bad. Obviously a clean speaker panel minus the holes would be better, but it is not aesthetically unpleasing.
