Please try the new Game Rating feature we're testing.

Yup... I fixed the text part of the link but not the link itself. Just fixed, really this time. Thanks for your votes.

Thumbs up!! I've only voted on a couple, but the "collectible" thing is a little vague, because it's hard to tell what percentage of collectors will want a particular title. Other than that, I love it!

Collectability is no problem, do people go nuts for it or do they sell them off and part them out as quick as they can find them? It doesn't even have to be a significant number of collectors who want them, just that there are more people after them than there are examples out there.

The sound category is the one I have the biggest trouble with. I can't even remember the sounds in most games unless I have logged some serious time playing them.

I think a lot of people are overranking social aspect on games that are terrible multiplayer games.

Galaga has 4 out of 5 on social with 25 people voting and it is basically the worst multiplayer experience in the world. If either player is any good at all then their entire game will happen in one large chunk before the other player even gets a turn.

Hopefully more people head over an do this on games in their collection, games they're familiar with, etc... It's a nice way to burn time and it makes you think a little harder about your games. I like the 2 separate votes for solo play and social play, since games like Rampage, Smash TV and Warlords (etc etc) are loads better with a buddy or two.

I did a rating for pretty much every game I have & some that I'm really familiar with. Good times.

I just voted on a dozen, too, and I like it. it would be cool to see the top 100 and bottom 100 and have them sortable by column (say I want to see the top 100 most collectible) and a page of all of my ratings would be neat too.

First to vote on Stargate :p.

It's kind of hard to find the vote button. I used my browser's search feature to catch it the first time.

Here's an issue I noticed...

The "0" rating doesn't affect the scoring.

I found a game that is a sequel (essentially a repeat of the OG) that had only 1 vote. I felt that there was essentially no originality or groundbreaking aspects whatsoever, so I entered "0" .. the lowest choice.

The rating on that one didn't change when I went to look at how the score changed after I voted. Once I changed my selection to "1" it then showed the lowered (average) score on that criteria.

So, the "0" is useless as it doesn't "count" against higher scores. I'd remove the zero and just have 1 be the lowest, along with the "Not Rated" (which is essentially what zero is doing).

Now I need to go change some votes.
