I have an Atari 2 player XO football game. I have been troubleshooting this sucker for a month. I have recapped everything and replaced all electrolytic caps and most of the transistors. Every now and then the video loses sync and I have to readjust the horizontal hold to get the screen back. I have replaced the HOT, Vert Driver and nearly all of the transistors in the vert and horizontal circuits. I hooked the machine up to my TV and did not see the scrambled video. At this point I'm thinking of replacing the monitor completely if needed. I really need to sell the machine and have a person interested in it , but I want it to be working properly before I sell it. Any ideas? Any knowledge on what I should replace the monitor with? PLEASE HELP ! Thanks.

I fired up by Huntron Trakker and energized the Horosontal circuit and found a bad transistor (Q6) the horizontal osc transistor. I had replaced it but the one I put in was bad. Now I have just a slight bounce of the screen now and then. Guess I will swap out the vertical drive transistor incase it is out of wack.
