I am pretty sure its a WG K7000 but I am not 100% sure. The picture is not as crisp I think it needs a cap kit but before I order I want to verify. Pics are below.

Thank you;

Awesome thank you. So usually when you have a working picture but its light and faded will a cap kit more than likely fix this?

25" k7000 shelf mount. Probably an offroad.

Dim pic is not caps, the tube needs rejuv or its just gone.

Caps if its light and dark on both sides or if its in shutdown. White knobs on the flyback, so you should consider replacing it(Or buying a replacement when it does go.).

Monitor chassis looks like its been capped once already. So recapping might not be needed. I always write the date I capped a chassis on its side. I also mark if hot, fly and reg have been replaced.

I did some adjustments and it does look better just a little faded. The reason I wondered about the caps is because it looks like there is black gunk next to a couple of the caps here is a pic.

that's not leaking from the cap... it's adhesive they use on some of the large caps.

Just get it capped for the heck of it. If the knobs on your flyback are white, change it too. A bad flyback can dim your colors also. If you have access to someone w/ a rejuv... it's good to run a cleaning cycle and then to test the guns strength. This can also improve the colors.

Here is a pic to show what it looks like. See its not bad after adjustments but just not crisp.

either find a collector near you who has one, or maybe call some tv repair shops. Or buy a rejuvinator, watch a youtube video and with a little luck you can do it yourself.

here is youtube video on the 467( think there is 5 parts to it, I have not actually watched any of these. I watched the 490 one as thats what I have).

if you think you can handle using it, I would try to get a bk467 or bk 490 if you can find one..
there are a few up on ebay right now

This one looks to have no adapters. You will need adapter 23 for the k7000,but you can buy a 23(someone on here was making one).

here is another:

this one has 23, (24 is good if you have color xy and occasionally you will need 31).

Eeech...your coarse brightness (bottom knob on the flyback) is too high. Back it off a bit and see if that makes your colors look a bit better. I understand that this will make your entire image a bit dimmer, but you should get better color balance that way.

Yes, the tubes used on the 25" Wells monitors can benefit greatly from a rejuvenation.

Here's an example of some of the results that can be achieved with rejuvenation:

Before:

After:

In the above example, the green gun was nearly dead in the tube, so not only did the rejuvenation process brighten up the tube, it also cleaned/balanced the guns enough to bring one of them back.

Here's the thread I grabbed the images from:

Ok I turn it on today and here clicking noises and I see sparks coming from the Flyback, am I correct in assuming I need a new flyback?

I turned this on again last night and noticed it was not arcing. Just to make sure is this still a fly back issue or could something else be the cause? I am going reflow the solder tonight to see how that works before I get my parts from Bob.
