I recently acquired this "Animal Space" crane game and was hoping to use it for my son's 5th birthday party. I was able to bring it back to life by replacing the power supply, but I've been unable to locate any documentation or even figure out who the manufacturer was.
The two things I need most are the dip switch settings and the error codes.
It occasionally throws a "55" error for no apparent reason and then stops working and buzzes, similar to if the tilt sensor had tripped.
I've attached a photo of the main board, the crane control knobs, and the cabinet.
Can anyone help me out?

Looks like the previous generation generic Taiwan board. I looked up the Toy Soldier manual, and the PCB layout seems to match your machine.

That's close, but not it. I tried a couple of the dip switch settings and they don't match. Here is the layout for my PCB. Any other ideas? I've included the writing on the board (CTE 001 94V-0) and the labels on the ROMs in case someone recognizes that.

For the error, I tried disconnecting the tilt sensor in case I was accidentally bumping it, but the error 55 + buzzing still occurs. It always occurs at the end of the game, after the claw has come to the drop spot. There's no way to reset the machine except for turning it off and back on.

If it's erroring out when it reaches the home position, there might be an issue with the limit switches that tell the board that it's reached the home position. With it randomly throwing up a 55 error, there may be a loose wire somewhere that's periodically shorting. I recommend doing a deep dive for the older Taiwan claw machine manual. Some version of that is probably what you're looking for.

I have a similar looking board on my machine that I am trying to repair, have you had any luck obtaining documentation for your machine ? If yes can you direct me to where you got the info.
