MMAO - Game: please delete

this one on ebay probably sold to someone outside ebay, but what should be of note is that it did not sell for 7 days at a price between $1500 and 2k. I would assume it sold for the lower end of the range.

The seller killed that auction early, which to me would suggest that maybe they received a good offer (?) The listing did not run the full duration though. It says "7 days" because that was the original auction duration, but doesn't show how long it actually ran (it only shows the end time). I wasn't watching it so I don't know how long the auction was up though. But if you were watching the listing of course you know, and I'm just throwing my observation in there. I bought a Tapper yesterday and paid a pretty fair amount because I was pretty hungry for one. GLWTS

if you guys want to start a thread on how you disagree with Exidys price guide then start your on discussion there but I am trying to trade or sell some games here! If you have something to trade or if you are really interested in buying them send me a pm! IF not then STFU and stay off my thread!

You kind of started it with how you posted this ad. Good luck with the sale. Wish I had some extra money.

The last couple that I found that sold in 2016 on eBay and Klov went for $800-$1400.

Am I missing something?

This thread concerns guidelines for asking questions on these forums about pricing, either as a potential buyer or potential seller of an item.

Background: Price Policing (criticizing prices posted by sellers of items) got out of hand on these forums, and has been banned. There is still a need for potential sellers and/or potential buyers of an item to ask for feedback when they aren't sure what the current market is for something. This is what Pricing Question threads are for. The general idea is to allow pricing questions threads, as long as they are genuine and honest in nature and not hidden attempts to critique or price police another thread on these forums. We proposed making a separate forum section for such pricing questions, though after reviewing user feedback on same, have decided that such a section is unnecessary at this time.

If you are going to post a pricing question, please follow the following guidelines:

1) Remember that Price Policing is banned in all forum sections. If you are a potential buyer or sellers you can solicit opinions for the proper price for something, as long as such solicitations are not a back-handed attempt at price policing.

2) Pricing questions should be limited to the General Discussion forum for most modern arcade items, or alternatively, can be posted in specific machines sections (ie: slot machines) if applicable. We reserve the right to move "PQ:" threads from the general discussion section to another forum section in the future if we think that makes sense. Don't put them in the 'For Sale' sections at this time.

3) Start the title of all Pricing Question threads with "PQ: ".

4) If you want to start a thread in reference to an item in the For Sale section, ONLY do so if you are truly interested in buying the item and am not sure of its value. If you think a listed item is overpriced and want to start a critique of a for sale thread, then DO NOT POST here.

5) If you want to start a thread in reference to an item on an external web site or retail store, ONLY do so if you are truly interested in buying the item and am not sure of its value. An exception for price policing currently exists for items in which external sellers are asking over $5,000 for, and for which a price is so high as to be deemed humorous. In such cases, don't start the thread with PQ, and post it in the Trading Post/External/eBay/Craigslist section.

6) Do not start a thread as a transparent or not so transparent way to critique an item listed in the For Sale section, or to invite such critique from others.

7) If responding to a thread, don't take it off topic, and don't start a fight.

8) Don't post anything (either in starting a thread or in replying to one) that is intended as bait for the "Price Police" to trash someone's For Sale post.

9) Perception is just as important as your intent. Even an innocent thread or post might get deleted by a moderator and action might be taken against your account if a post looks questionable to others.
