Hello fine members,

I have recently picked up an afterburner about a month or so ago. It has a monitor chassis I have had trouble identifying. I don't think it is the original, there is a lot of tape being used. Here are some photos, please let me know if any others would be helpful.

Awesome! Thank you. I am having an issue with vertical roll. Adjusting the v-hold screw helps some but I am still noticing intermittent rolling. Now that I know the chassis I can do some research. 🙏

Looks like your ground is on pin 2. Needs to be on pin 1. The 3-pin connection should be…

1. Ground
2.
3. Sync

Looks like it's…

1.
2. Ground
3. Sync

If that's not the case and I'm just looking at it incorrectly, the rolling issue is common on the K4600. You need to clean/deoxit the pot or just replace it.

Nice, let me start with de-oxing it and seeing if it makes any difference. also will try to make sure it is in fact a K4600. Thanks again everyone!

Have one last basic question - I wanted to replace the RGB-Ground-Sync cable and make a better one that doesn't use tape. Can someone help me out with what exactly that adapter would be called? I see it's 9 pins but not sure if it goes by any particular name.

Thanks

These work for the K4600 interface pcb.
