I just slapped my new Galaga 88 bd into my good ole Galaga cab via a jamma to galaga adapter...Man thats a fun game, I realize why I wanted it so bad now.. Killer colors and sounds.. Looked awesome on the ole 19 too.

So how far did you make it? Now you need a Galaga 3 (I need one of those also).

..

Funny!

I actually have a Galaga 3 and a Galaga sitting next to it.
My Galaga has Namco Classics I & II and Galaga 88 in it.

The Galaga Arrangements on the Namco Classics I is one of the best Galaga upgrades ever.

Forgot that one

Thanks for the reminder.. I had forgot about the Namco classics bd.. I worked for Namco for 12yrs and barely ever saw that bd once.. I think I did see it and play it at a local pizza place once or twice...

My Galaga machine has a Clay Cowgill multi-jamma kit with the following boards:

ArcadeShop Programmable multi
Original Galaga with high score save and selection screen for normal/rapid fire
Namco Museum Vol. 1
Pleaides
Majestic 12: Super Space Invaders '91

Since I have a Arcadeshop control panel on the machine in place of the original, I mapped the two left fire buttons to the "left" and "Right" joystick triggers. This way, I can play Pleaides, Phoenix and the various Space Invaders games in the original control configuraiton.

I have been wanting to put a Galaga '88 board in here for some time. It would (obviously) replace the slot that is currently occupied by the original Galaga board, as it is somewhat redundant given the ArcadeShop board and the Namco Museum compilation...
