Hey All,
Gotta question, is there someway to play a arcade on a HDTV ? For example a Mortal Kombat or Street fighter on a arcade ? Im not talking about XBOX /PS3 . Im talking about PCB boards jamma !!
If so what parts are needed for the conversion for sound and video to go to cables to plug into a HDTV ?
Or am I only dreaming?????

Any leads / advice would be greatly appreciated.

What you want is a "supergun". Search on "supergun JAMMA" and you will find tons of information on purchasing them or making your own.

Good luck with that..

I say look at a jamma game in HD before you start buying.
I tried it... wish I didn't. I could've use the money for something else.
Remember those game were made for tube glass monitors. When you go HD
you'll see everything Very Sharp and Hella Pixelated. Like zooming in too much.
I was not happy with it. That's what I experienced .
Again, Try to see it at first hand before investing.

I didn't find the picture quality too bad when I tried it on my Panasonic LCD, many boards didn't sync correctly though. I don't recommend it unless you find frustration enjoyable.

Thanks for the input/ I guess I'm curious about playing my Mortal kombat even making a multicab. Like a pedestal cab. I have seen them online and YouTube. Some are mame and ps3 just with the console inside with controllers. You would think that they can play arcade PCBS on a HDTV.
Any suggestions?
I will take a look at that supergun and email em my questions.
I wish it was that simple to convert the signal and play on a tv.

Well most TVs here in US are HDTV. They're usually hanging on the wall.
I understand that it would work with a CRT . But I referring to HDTVs.
