I played a buch of pins I had not had the chance to previously this weekend. We had the Louisville Arcade Expo this past weekend and I think it was a great success.

I got to play WCS94, JackBot, NGG, Flipper Football and more.

I really enjoyed WCS94 a lot. NGG was fun, also. Flipper Football was a unique take on the game. There was also a Varkon there and it was great to see/play such a rare game.

simply awesome good for you!
I never quite understood how NGG can be so much more expensive than WCS94 when (IMHO) they are equally as good. I suppose NGG having ~2700 VS ~8000+ units sold of WCS94 could have something to do with it.

I'm glad you were fond of WCS94. While the theme itself isn't that great the over all pin is.

+1

I don't know anything about soccer, but this is a great game, esp. at the price it often goes for. A local guy was selling one of these at an amazing price about a year ago, I wish I had known about it back then. I could see one of these in my collection at some point.

I wonder if the price difference between this and NGG has anything to do with the Pat Lawlor name. He and Steve Ritchie are probably the first two designers that people learn about. But, man, that 4 year run that John Popadiuk had from 1994-1997 is pretty damn impressive.

I have a WCS94 in my collection and that is the one that my guests are drawn to the most. I'm guessing because their ball times are much longer where as on Demolition Man the ball can drain in < 10 secs lol Besides scoring Goals never gets old and agree with the other post about the value this game gives for the price point it normally goes for.

I was wondering how the Louisville Arcade Expo turned out. I had thought about making the drive up from Nashville, but developed a head cold instead...blah. I didn't see any photo trip reports from it on KLOV. Good to know it was a success!
