Playchoice: Super C causing problems with other games
I just installed Super C into my single monitor pcb and it works fine, but now all the other games, except Ninja Gaiden 2, have messed up graphics. The instruction menu for all the games is fine however.
The other games I have installed are Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!, Mega Man 3, Metroid, SMB2, SMB3, Balloon Fight, Rygar, and Castlevania.
Does anyone know if there is any type of mod required on a single monitor motherboard?
Super C and SMB3 come with an instruction sheet stating that if you have the PCH1-01 or PCH1-02 motherboards (double monitor pcbs), you need to cut a couple legs on two of the chips on the Playchoice motherboard and then jumper them to another point on the motherboard to have the games work.
But my single monitor motherboard is model PCK1-02. And SMB3 and all the other games were working fine until Super C was installed.
I've made sure all the game pcbs are seated nice and tight, but graphics on the other games only display properly if Super C is not installed.
Any suggestions?
