Playchoice single monitor cab. Can I replace the Zenith monitor with a 20EZ?

I didnt know a regular K7000 chassis could be used with the Zenith tube. Ill see if I have a spare. The reason I tried to use the 20EZ is because its the only working monitor I have laying around.

The yokes are going to different between the K7000 and the K7000a. You wont be able to simply swap the chassis.

Im pretty sure I have done it but maybe there will be a slight difference in the horizontal or vertical size because of different yoke impedance...

I just realized something. Won't I have to modify a K7000 chassis to invert the video signal? Has anybody done this before?

Theres a thread here somewhere that details how to convert a standard Wells K7000 to accept inverted video. Ifi I recall right its a mater of moving resistors and jumpers.

Also, the Sanyo monitors that Atari used. Were they 120 or 100? I ask because I worked for an op that ended up with over 100 of those monitors brand new when Atari was tossing them. Yes, tossing. We used them in everything and they never blew up.

In the Playchoice cabinets that have K7000A, there is an inverter board that inverts the board signal to the K7000A, which is just a standard K7000A, so you can replace it with a K7000 chassis with no problems.

Sanyo EZY is the 120volt version.
