While I don't pay THAT much attention to the PC10 market, it seems to me that Noid is the most sought after PCB, even more so than other rarities like Rockin' Kats and Powerblade, and I almost never see Noid come up for sale, while I've seen the other show up several times in the last year.

While $250 may be a bit high for this one, it's not completely out of the ballpark. I think there may have been some other factors contributing to the low price it sold for on eBay, or it's just an anomaly. I've seen Noid PCBs snapped up here before instantly for at least $150. It's just supply and demand. I see plenty of people looking to complete their PC10 collection and are only missing this one and maybe one of the previously mentioned titles, and are willing to pay a premium to do so.

Of course I think PC10 is a ludicrous waste of space on the whole since the games are exactly the same as the NES version, and Yo! Noid is an awful, awful game in it's own right, but to each his own.

Dude go find one for a hundred.

Matt

Bought mine for $80.00, one just recently was on ebay for $120.00 roughly (When converting to KLOV from ebay pricing drop 11% of the price).

I also saw another go for sale for $125.00, and know of one for sale for $100.00 right now.

Is $250.00 out of line for the game, and the box? To me yes, to someone else...not so much. If it had the topper in it, and it was a different seller I would pay $200.00 for it.

I got told I was out of line for selling Solar Netman for $350.00 in the first PM and the second PM I read was someone asking me to send them a paypal invoice at that price.

I got told Power Blade would never sell for above $200.00, I had 5 offers of $200.00 and sold it for $250.00.

So they do fluctuate.

I would hardly say Yo! Noid is more sought after then PowerBlade OR Rockin Kats. Certainly it is wanted less then RC Pro AM, NG2 and Mega Man 3 (which it is more comparable to in rarity).

Unless of course your PC-10 happens to be inside of a Domino's :)

I think part of it may have to do with the fact that Power Blade, Megaman 3, and Rockin' Kats are all fun, memorable games. Yo! Noid not so much. Given that they were the last batch of PC10 games released, I would venture to say that they're all pretty close in rarity, with Power Blade being the hardest to find since it was the last release in 1991 and probably produced in much smaller numbers.

Good luck to Matt with the sale, but I would almost bet my house this will not sell here, certainly not at that price. Guys here know what these games are worth and it ain't $250 bucks for Yo Noid!. I'm pretty sure you couldn't even sell that on Ebay for $250, but hey even a blind squirrel finds a nut at some point. :) On top of that the seller has a transaction record riddled ( :D ) with uncertainty. I must give him props for working at improving it though. I have only been at this stuff for about 6 month and I've seen 2 or 3 sell in the $100-130 range, the latest one linked in my previous post.

Ninja Gaiden 3 and Shatterhand were the last two games released. Prior to them it was Rockin kats and Power Blade.

Power Blade is fun it is an awesome game...like futuristic castlevania...Rockin Kats not so much. Rockin Kats and Yo Noid are basically the same game. A shitty sorta side scrolling platformer with a cuteness factor that gives way really quickly to frustration.
