Is the Playchoice 10 (single monitor) a JAMMA pinout? What other game boards are interchangeable with the PC-10 pinout?
In addition, what other game boards are interchangeable with an original Pacman harness?
Thanks,
Arcade Greg

bump

Just wanted to bump this thread up, because I haven't received any feedback yet. I want to start buying game PCB's, but I didn't know which ones are compatible with my PC10 and pacman.
Thanks,
Arcade Greg

Playchoice 10 is not JAMMA. I don't know if any other boards use that pinout, and I don't think I've ever seen a PC10 cab -> JAMMA PCB adapter for sale anywhere. Why not use an actual Playchoice board, since you can have up to 10 games on it?

Besides Ms. Pac, Pac Plus, and Jr. Pac, Galaxian is the only board that's close (but not quite the same) as the Pac-Man pinout. You can certainly buy a Pac-Man cab -> Jamma PCB adapter though. Most of the online arcade parts stores sell them - Arcadeshop, Mikesarcade, etc.

Playchoice is unique, can't put any other boards in there.

Except for a Vs. Motherboard. As to the OP, JAMMA is a single edge connector. Just looking inside your machine for a few seconds will show that your PC-10 single monitor PCB has 2 edge connectors. How could it be JAMMA? On to Pacman, have you done any other research yet? Several Online Arcade suppliers sell a Pacman to Jamma adapter. Buy one of them.

Do these work in the single monitor version or just the dual monitor version?

Hmmmmm, yeah, you got me on the punchouts (damn you to hell), but I can assure you a Vs. PCB will plug right in. I have my SM playchoice PCB in my red tent from time to time.

I don't know how it could be JAMMA (that's why I asked the question...). I have researched the Pacman, and I have read about the adapters. However, I was looking for plug-in and play boards without the adapter.
Thanks for all the help everyone,
Arcade Greg
