Hey guys,
I recently acquired a Playchoice 10. I bought it for $50 and spent about $115-$135 fixing and upgrading it. I made a video detailing all of the upgrades/modifications I made to the unit. Also, at the end of the video I have a in-game monitor width problem, if someone knows the solution PM me please. Let me know what yall think of all the upgrades/modifications too.
See yall,
Arcade Greg

PS: The video is almost 8 minutes long (it didn't feel that long when I was filming it).

Sorry about that I had it set to private. It should be fixed now.

To all,
Are there any other modifications that you can make to enchance user interface, gameplay, game efficiency, etc...

To reduce the gap you need to play with the horizontal position knob on the monitor. Some game are going to have a gap not matter what so you need just find a happy medium. I have only noticed this between the 3 super Mario games others seem fine.

There is a custom bios that allows you to change the names of games in the menu but that is about it.

You could probably overclock it as I have an overclocked NES but it is fairly useless sense the games were made to run the stock speed.

Hey guys,
I have seen these 8T bios chips around on this site and on ebay. Can you exchange game chips from original NES carts too? I would like to see one of these chips installed in a "how-to" video. Thanks for the input, btw.

Maybe I dont understand something, but why would you put a cooling fan on the bottom of a cabinet?

It draws in the cool air from the bottom and vents the hot air through the top of the cabinet. Basically, to cool the game/monitor/lights/etc..
