yeah if both are adjusting brightness then you have other issues. To mecha's question, do both pots on your new flyback only adjust brightness? One of them should be the focus pot.

I got this game from a fellow klover.
It sat for a year or so unwrapped until about a month ago. It wouldn't turn on and tripped the breaker.
Another awesome klov member sold me the psu/transformer block. It arrived and within 10 minutes my game was back to life. Perfect in every way.
That lasted two sessions. Third time it was turned on a hiss (maybe pop) sound was made. I knew something didn't sound right. Selected a game, lower monitor comes on but now the screen is blurry.

Screen was dark at first. It took a moment but then it was bright colorful and back to life like when I take my contacts out...
Ampy mentionef to me something about B+ being correct. I ordered a B+ cap, however I am just poking around in the dark at the moment.
Thanks for any help, I sincerely appreciate it.
It's there. You can see the back of it in this pic. All wired as it should be.Where is the adjust pot for focus on that chassis? There should be two pots. One for focus and one for screen (aka brightness)
I dont see the flyback transformer adjustment board like you see on a normal 20Ez...
