Hey gang, I have a PC10 cabinet, and I'm having it reset on me every once in a while.

It will show the Wait 10 Secs. then it will reset so I'm waiting like an eternity of seconds or it will let me select a game, then it will reset and wait 10 secs. comes up - you know totally random.

Capacitor, connection, PSU taking a dump? What do you think?

One of mine was doing that as well. I left it on for a few hours and it quit. I don't know what the cause was but I would like some input as well.

It's a drop in voltage somewhere. So check all connectors and voltage outputs at the PSU.

Mine did the same thing a week after I bought it.

Did you ever figure out the problem? I'm having the same issue. I'll reseat the CPU and check the voltages tomorrow. Any other ideas on this issue?

did anyone figure out the problem causing it to reset randomly? mine just started to reset while playing any games. power supply issues?

Pc 10

mine currently stays like this. have not touched it. planing on unplugging verything and reseating all the plugs and carts. any help wb appreciated!

No the game freezes and then goes back to main screen does not do a full reboot. I had 2 other carts that where glitching but maybe it's my pc10.

It's likely the filter board. Remove the filter board from the circuit, and I think you'll be surprised...just a thought

Is this the filter board? and its ok to run without it?

I assume this is still a lingering issue for a lot of the people in this thread. Mine was doing it again this weekend after a year or so without the issue. I removed the filter board a while back and I thought it corrected it, but it was resetting this weekend again. I'll reseat the connectors and games again, but I'd like to know if anyone pinpointed the problem... not just a general power issue or voltage drop...

I know it's been awhile since this thread posted but I'm having this issue on dual monitor with new power supply. Anybody got a solution or direction?

I was able to fix mine in my single monitor PC-10. I pulled the power supply out, disassembled it and inspected both boards. There were cracked solder joints on the 9P connector. I reflowed those and touched up a few others that looked suspect and it's been working 100% with no "wait 10 sec." screen for a few years now.
