OK. I'm thinking about getting a Playchoice 10. I noticed in reading on KLOV that the games are on timers? What does that mean? If I'm doing really well at a game and not dying is my game just going to end based on time?

How does eveyone like this system. What's a normal price for one in good condition?

If you put the unit on freeplay then the games do not run on a timer. You can play for as long as you like.

And, yes... quarter play = timed play. One quarter = so much gameplay time (depending on your dips).

Sweet. Thanks.

Oh, and I like the system. If you like NES games then you will like it. I don't find myself playing the system tons but it is very cool to have 10 games ready to rock.

I wouldn't pay much more than $300 for a nice one with decent games in it.

The one I am looking at has the dual monitors, a gun, and has most of the super mario games, excitebike, duck hunt, gunman, baseball, tennis, and comes with 1 extra.

How does that set-up sound? Is the dual monitor version worth more?

The dual monitor might be worth a hair more simply because of the value of the two monitors. I prefer the dedicated single monitor version. It's a pretty neat and newer cabinet and there is no need for two monitors with a PC-10. The single monitor cab is made of particle board and wafer board. As long as you find a nice one you have nothing to worry about. It's a solid cab.

The one you are looking at seems to have a nice variety of stuff.
