I am a newbie to the world of Playchoice 10. About a month ago, I purchased two playchoice 10 single monitor boards (both appear to be in very good shape) and about 15 games. Certain games seem to work perfectly every time. Other games are hit or miss. It appears that the problem is with the game and not the boards. Any suggestions on improving the frequently malfunctioning games? Do I need to blow air on them like the old NES days? In buying used carts, how can I tell a good one from a bad one? Any comments are appreciated. BTW - it is really cool to play these great old games in a cab! Thanks

A lot of times just reseating the gae cart is enough to fix the glitches. Also, make sure that the cart is all the way plugged in.

The best thing to do is have the seller take a picture of it working in a machine before you buy it. They may say that it was tested and working before put it storage but a lot can happen in the years since they used it. If they say it is untested or say they can't test it (but they are sure it works) then I would suggest that you buy it assuming it doesn't work and base your price on that assumption.
