Questions about the dual monitor playchoice 10.

How easily can it be converted to a punchout?

What are the desirable games that can come with it?

Is every board capable of adding up to 10 games or are there multiple boards?

A conversion to Punchout is extremely simple. They both use the same exact main harness. All you need to do is swap the PCB and the Control Panel (including the CP harness).

All PC10 main boards were designed to allow for 10 games to be installed at the same time.

There are a little over 50 factory game options out there, but you can also find custom conversions along with adapters to allow for using an NES cart inside a Playchoice.

Thanks. I may be landing a Playchoice 10 and a second project one. I was going to ask this very question. :)

Follow up: For those that have owned Punch Out, is it a keeper/worth having? I love the NES version but I noted, in watching a recent video, that the sounds on the arcade version may become repetitive over time. Thoughts? Fun factor? Thanks!

Saw those they look OK, you usually can get about as much or the games as the cabinet costs. nice get.

I have a PO control panel but could use overlay. $20 if you need it.

Playchoice is a great cabinet I wouldn't convert it if it were me, you can get mike tysons punch out cart and nine other games. As already said you can also convert carts like I have galaga and donkey kong in my playchoice.

Thanks, might take you up on that if I pick up one.

I've never seen one in person, and I may be mistaken here, but I thought I heard about or saw pictures of a Playchoice 5.

I have two PC10s and I find Mike Tysons Punchout acceptable but not as good as regular Punchout.

Agreed acceptable seeing as you can have a bunch more games.

Personally I'd save your money buying PC10 carts and just buy a RetroUSB PowerPak and a Game Link from pc-10.com. Load it up with every NES cart. Winning. Seems to work great.

I think carts are a better investment.
