Playchoice 10 Dual Monitor CPO... does it exist?

I was told the escape pod artwork has been corrected... waiting for it to arrive and I'll update with the verdict. :p

The arcadeoverlays CPI is thicker then the original and can be difficult to put on. A comparison of the one you receive would be useful as well.

Alright, received the CPOs today... the results:

Baby Pac cpo looks... pretty well printed. The blue color match is the most obvious issue. It's way way way lighter. The thing is, I'm actually okay with this... the light blue actually matches the rest of the cabinet art better. Overall the colors are lighter though... Kind of a bummer, but at least the quality is good? I dunno, I'll have to see how difficult it is to apply.

Now on to the PC 10 dual CPO

Okay... well... colors are off, but I can tolerate that. The only really bad issue here is the grays are almost completely lost in darkness... The grays are way way off. You can see around the game select and start and instructions area the super normal gray color on the original and then the dark black-gray color on the repro. Also Nintendo logo not in the right spot but it's better than what they had in the art before.

The bottom half is better. The red is only slightly lighter... Overall the print quality is pretty nice. The material seems to be pretty thick so I mean that's good but also might be hard to apply.

One thing I've noticed is he uses a textured material which isn't present on the original CPOs.

Overall I have to say, bit disappointed with the faded out colors on both CPOs and the way too dark gray on the PC10 cpo. The quality is good, haven't actually tried applying it yet (obviously since my old CPOs are still on the control panels, lol)

If he just got the colors matched better and fixed some fonts/placements these would be top notch at least visually speaking.

edit: sorry about the harsh lighting... I'll try to get better pictures if requested... But generally you can get the idea.

Where did you order those from? I need to be sure to never order from them. That Baby Pac overlay is criminal. Buy one from Phoenix Arcade so your machine doesn't look sun bleached.

Colors need to be adjusted for sure. We'll make the changes. Thanks for your input. Just return them for a full refund.

Since I'm curious about this as well, I'm curious to see the fixes.

One request - in the game control buttons (top row, 'Game Select', 'Enter', 'Select', etc..) - shrink down the font a little. The different font sizes in two-lines vs. one line should be the same (same as the two-line buttons), and shrink that down slightly - more space is needed between the lines. :)

Got the arcadeoverlays version in today. It's quality. Definitely thick... The texture better matches the original... but a bit thicker. Colors are way better. Text and positioning of things is way better.

I sort of goofed on applying it though. :( I got it 80% of the way perfect and then the last big bend at the top screwed me... I got a couple of bubbles in it and I was dumb enough to try and peel it back up a bit and of course that f***ed it up more.

Overall the application was pretty good. I'll live with the little blemishes.... unfortunately.

It's still 100x better than bare rusted metal showing through.
