" Wait 10 Sec" .... On occasion it will boot up regular and it will play. But lately it's been taking some time to boot. I hear that the power supply could be going out. My questions are
Would I be able to buy a universal power supply and run my pc-10 or should I just replace it with another pc-10 power supply??

Also my buddy has a extra power supply for the pc-10 but its for the dual monitor, will it work on my single monitor ?

K after posting this, my monitor is all black now. =( power is on,but no game list or anything,

Thanks guys

I forget if the power supplies are the same for the duals and singles. I can't remember the differences between the boards to display the video signal to the top monitor.

I imagine it's the same as that found in a Vs. machine. FWIW, I converted a Vs. back to Nintendo Classic and did not have to change the power supply, which I found a little strange, lol. was the model that Mario Bros. uses... the one that can output -5V.

as for running a standard switching unit, it can be done, but at the expense of scalping the fuck out of your power connectors, something I don't encourage doing. there's ways to rebuild the power supply you've got, I'm sure maybe Bob Roberts (www.therealbobroberts.net) has a rebuild kit for it.. you install it roughly the same way you would a monitor cap kit (which I also advise doing if you haven't done so already -- the image quality on those Sanyos improves SIGNIFICANTLY after capping them).
